Signs you need this repair

  • Cracked or pressure-marked screen
  • Lines, blocks of colour or flicker on the display
  • Black screen, but an external monitor works
  • Backlight bleed or dark patches after a knock

What actually goes wrong

Blades have shipped with a long list of panels — different resolutions and refresh rates, and OLED and mini-LED on some versions. A replacement has to match the original's connector, refresh rate and resolution, or it will not work properly or will lose the features you paid for. We identify your exact panel before ordering.

A black screen with a working external monitor is not always the panel. The display cable and the backlight circuit can fail too, and both are cheaper repairs, so we test before quoting a new screen.
