The rugged Instinct 2 uses a monochrome transflective MIP display and five physical buttons — common jobs are battery, charging contacts and seized buttons.
The fee is waived when you go ahead with the repair, and you get a fixed quote before any work starts.
Seals Restored
Fresh gaskets refit to restore water resistance.
Glass-Only Option
Often just the lens, not the whole screen.
Newcastle Workshop
In-house repair; it never leaves the shop.
Not in Newcastle? Post it to us
We repair Garmin watchs by post for customers right across the UK. Book online, send it in, and we diagnose it and confirm a fixed price before any work starts — with a £45 diagnostic that is waived when you go ahead with the repair. It comes back to you tracked and insured.
The Instinct 2 uses a transflective (MIP) display with a separate protective lens, so if you crack the glass but the screen underneath still works, we can often replace the lens on its own — much cheaper than a full display.
Instinct 2 Battery Replacement
If your Instinct 2 now lasts a fraction of its old battery life, a fresh cell typically restores most of the original endurance. We re-seal the case afterwards to protect against moisture.
Instinct 2 Charging & Water Faults
Corroded or sweat-coated charging contacts are the most common reason a Instinct 2 won’t charge. We test the full charging path and treat any water ingress before it spreads.
Instinct 2 Button Repair
The Instinct 2’s physical buttons can seize or stick from grit and sweat. We clean or replace the affected buttons so navigation feels right again.
Instinct 2 repair FAQs
Can you replace just the glass on a Instinct 2?
▼
Often, yes. The Instinct 2 has a separate lens above a transflective display, so if the screen still works we can usually replace just the cracked glass — far cheaper than a full display. We confirm which you need during the diagnostic before quoting.
How much does a Instinct 2 repair cost?
▼
It depends on the fault and the parts required, so we do not quote misleading flat rates. We run a full diagnostic and give you a fixed quote before any work starts. The £45 diagnostic fee is waived when you go ahead with the repair.
Will my Instinct 2 still be waterproof after repair?
▼
We replace the case gaskets and seals whenever we open a watch, so water resistance is restored as far as is achievable on a repaired watch. We can’t re-certify the original factory ATM rating, so we recommend treating it as splash- and shower-safe rather than for swimming or diving — and we explain this before you book.
How long does a Instinct 2 repair take?
▼
Many repairs are quick once the correct part is in stock; display assemblies, sapphire lenses and water-damage cases can take longer. We give you a realistic timeframe with your quote after the diagnostic.
