Garmin Watch Screen Repair
Newcastle

Cracked the glass on your Fenix, Forerunner, Epix, Instinct or Venu? On many Garmin models the protective lens sits above the display, so we can often replace the glass alone and save you the cost of a full screen. Free diagnostic, a fixed quote before any work, and your water seal restored on reassembly.

Garmin Screen & Glass Repairs

Not every cracked Garmin needs a full display. We check whether the panel underneath still works first, then quote you for the cheapest fix that lasts.

Glass / Lens Replacement

On transflective MIP models (most Fenix 5/6/7, Forerunner 9xx/2xx, Instinct) the lens is separate from the display — if the panel still works we replace the glass only.

Sapphire Lens Replacement

Sapphire editions (Fenix Sapphire, Epix Sapphire, Tactix) shrug off scratches but can shatter on impact. We fit a matching sapphire lens, not a cheaper substitute.

AMOLED Display Assembly

On Epix, Venu, Vivoactive 5 and the AMOLED Forerunners/Fenix the glass is bonded to the panel, so a crack needs a full display assembly. We source the correct part per model.

Touch & Dead-Pixel Faults

Unresponsive touch, lines, blotches or a display that stays dark after a knock — diagnosed to confirm it is the panel and not a board-level fault before you commit.

Frequently Asked Questions

Often, yes. Most non-AMOLED Fenix, Forerunner and Instinct models use a transflective display with a separate protective lens, so if the screen underneath still shows clearly and responds, we can replace the cracked lens on its own — which is considerably cheaper than a full display. We confirm this for free during the diagnostic before quoting.
Usually not. The AMOLED models (Epix, Venu, Vivoactive 5, and the AMOLED Forerunner 265/965 and Fenix 7 Pro/8 AMOLED) have the glass laminated directly to the display, so a cracked front almost always means a full display assembly. We will tell you exactly which applies to your watch and quote accordingly.
We replace the case gasket and seals whenever we open a Garmin, so water resistance is restored as far as is achievable on a repaired watch. We cannot certify it to the original factory ATM rating, so we advise treating a repaired watch as splash- and shower-safe rather than for diving. We explain this clearly before you book.
Yes. Sapphire is extremely scratch-resistant but brittle under a sharp impact, so it does crack. We fit a genuine-spec sapphire lens to match — we never quietly downgrade a sapphire watch to standard glass.
Most lens replacements are turned around quickly once the correct part is in. AMOLED display assemblies and sapphire lenses can take longer to source by model. We give you a realistic timeframe with your quote rather than a one-size promise.
