Which MSI do you have?

MSI Titan and Raider

The flagship MSIs, with the highest-power GPUs and processors and large chargers to match. A lot of current runs through these boards.

MSI Vector and Crosshair

Performance models below the Raider, built for high GPU power at a lower price.

MSI Stealth

The thin MSIs. Less room for cooling, so dust and dried-out compound show up as throttling sooner.

MSI Katana, Sword, Cyborg and Pulse

The lower-priced lines. Simpler builds, with many of the same faults.

Older MSIs

The GE, GP, GS and GT ranges that came before the current names. Still repairable — we check parts availability before quoting.

The model name and its MS- number are on the label underneath, or in MSI Center. Not sure? Bring it in and we will identify it during the diagnostic.

MSI repair FAQs

Why does my MSI stop charging at 60% or 80%?

▼
MSI Center's Battery Master can hold the charge between 50 and 60%, or 70 and 80%, to slow battery wear. Check it before booking — it looks like a fault but is a setting.

Does MSI repair laptops out of warranty?

▼
MSI offers paid out-of-warranty repairs, but a board fault usually means a replacement motherboard. We repair the board at component level instead, and do batteries, screens and cooling in-house.

Will a repair affect my MSI warranty?

▼
If your MSI is still under MSI's warranty, use that first — we will tell you so rather than take the job. Once it is out of warranty, a third-party repair is your call.

How much does an MSI repair cost?

▼
It depends on the model and the fault. We run a full diagnostic and give you a fixed quote before any work starts. The £45 diagnostic fee is waived when you go ahead with the repair.

Can I post my MSI to you?

▼
Yes, from anywhere in the UK. You post the device to us, and £15 covers tracked, insured return postage. We review every mail-in request first and email you the address once it is approved. Pack it with the charger, well padded.
