The iPhone SE (1st generation) uses an LCD rather than an OLED display. That makes it one of the more affordable iPhone screens to replace, and a good LCD looks right on it because it is the same kind of panel the phone shipped with. There is no True Tone on this generation, so there is no display calibration to carry across, which keeps the job straightforward.
Apple designs the iPhone SE (1st generation)'s battery to keep about 80% of its capacity after 500 full charge cycles. At around 10 years old, yours may well be past that — check Settings, Battery, Battery Health. Below 80%, iOS can slow the phone to prevent sudden shutdowns, which is why an older iPhone often feels slow rather than short of charge.
The iPhone SE (1st generation)'s Touch ID sensor is in the home button and is paired to the logic board, so the original button has to move onto the replacement screen. Nobody can pair a new button to your phone, Apple included — at best it restores basic presses, never fingerprint unlock. The iPhone SE (1st generation) has an aluminium back, not glass, so there is no rear glass to crack. Dents and bends are cosmetic until they press on the battery or screen. If the back has bulged or the screen is lifting at one edge, that is usually a swollen battery pushing outwards, and it needs looking at promptly.
Charging faults on the iPhone SE (1st generation) come through the Lightning port, and the port is usually the problem rather than the board. Ports wear with every cable pulled out at an angle, and pocket lint packs into the bottom until the plug can no longer seat.
