That makes it one of the more affordable iPhone screens to replace, and a good LCD looks right on it because it is the same kind of panel the phone shipped with. Apple pairs the display to the logic board, so we move the original calibration across to the new panel. Skip that step and the screen still works, but True Tone and auto-brightness stop behaving as they should.
Apple designs the iPhone 11's battery to keep about 80% of its capacity after 500 full charge cycles. At around 7 years old, yours may well be past that — check Settings, Battery, Battery Health. Below 80%, iOS can slow the phone to prevent sudden shutdowns, which is why an older iPhone often feels slow rather than short of charge. iOS also checks that the battery is genuine and correctly fitted; get that wrong and you see a service message and lose battery health reporting. Face ID on the iPhone 11 lives in the sensor array at the top of the phone, not in the display, so a careful screen replacement leaves it working. What breaks it is carelessness: the flex cables carrying those sensors are fragile, and a damaged Face ID part cannot be swapped for a new one because it is paired to the logic board. We check Face ID before we start, so if the drop already broke it you hear that first.
The iPhone 11's back glass is bonded to the frame. Apple's answer to a cracked back is a whole new rear housing with every internal part moved across. We use a laser to break the adhesive and lift the broken glass off your existing frame instead, then fit a new panel — a fraction of the cost of a housing swap, and your phone keeps its own frame.
Charging faults on the iPhone 11 come through the Lightning port, and the port is usually the problem rather than the board. Ports wear with every cable pulled out at an angle, and pocket lint packs into the bottom until the plug can no longer seat. Often a careful clean fixes it; if not, it is a port repair rather than anything more serious. Lightning cables fail often, so we test with a known-good one before blaming the port.
Liquid damage on the iPhone 11 is corrosion, not just water, and it keeps spreading after the phone feels dry. Its water-resistance rating is a factory figure that weakens with every drop and repair. Apple's warranty does not cover liquid damage on any iPhone. Turn it off, do not charge it, and skip the rice. We strip the phone, clean the board ultrasonically and test each part individually — and if it cannot be saved economically, we say so and put your data first.
Blurry or black photos, a cracked camera lens cover, a front camera that fails on video calls, muffled speakers and buttons that stop responding are all individually repairable on the iPhone 11. Cracked lens glass is often just the cover — a much smaller job than a new camera module — so we check which one you actually need before quoting.
