PS5 DualSense
The most common controller on our bench. Drift comes from the thumbstick potentiometers wearing, and the adaptive triggers add a second failure point the older pads did not have.
Stick drift, dead buttons, unresponsive triggers and charging faults, repaired on the board rather than replaced. A drifting controller is almost always worth fixing — the fault is a worn module, not a worn-out controller.
Fixed quote before any work. No fix, no fee.
Free both ways, tracked and insured.
Micro-soldering in-house; never sent on.
On parts and labour for the repair.
We repair Controllers by post for customers right across the UK. Book online, send it in, and we diagnose it and confirm a fixed price before any work starts — no charge if you decide not to go ahead. It comes back to you tracked and insured.
Pick the fault and you will get the detail for that specific repair — what causes it, how we tell it apart from the faults it gets confused with, and what we actually do about it.
Drifting sticks, sticky adaptive triggers, or a pad that will not hold charge.
What we doDrift, bumpers that click but do nothing, and Elite paddle faults.
What we doThe drift everyone knows about, plus rails and charging faults.
What we doThe most common controller on our bench. Drift comes from the thumbstick potentiometers wearing, and the adaptive triggers add a second failure point the older pads did not have.
Bumpers and triggers take the most abuse and fail before anything else. The Elite Series 2 is worth repairing rather than replacing given what it costs new.
Joy-Con drift is close to a design fault, and the Pro Controller drifts for the same reason. Both take replacement stick modules; neither needs a new controller.
