Terms & Conditions

By signing this document, you agree to the following terms and conditions related to the repair and/or data recovery service provided by iRepair Labs, located at 119 New Bridge Street, Newcastle Upon Tyne, NE1 2SW.

These terms and conditions constitute a legally binding agreement between the customer and iRepair Labs.

1. General Terms

1.1 The customer authorises iRepair Labs to perform diagnostics, repairs, and/or data recovery on their device.

1.2 The customer confirms they are the legal owner of the device or have the necessary authorisation to request repairs.

1.3 iRepair Labs will take all reasonable care in handling devices; however, it shall not be liable for any damage resulting from pre-existing faults, manufacturing defects, or prior third-party repairs.

1.4 Repairs are carried out on a best-effort basis, with no guarantee of success or full functionality restoration.

1.5 Repairs may void manufacturer warranties. iRepair Labs is not responsible for any loss of manufacturer warranty due to repairs undertaken.

2. Data Loss, Privacy & GDPR Compliance

2.1 iRepair Labs is not responsible for any loss, corruption, or alteration of data during repair or diagnostics. Customers must back up all data before submitting their device.

2.2 In cases where data recovery is attempted, iRepair Labs will take all reasonable precautions to recover data, but success is not guaranteed.

2.3 iRepair Labs complies with UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018.

2.4 Customers can raise data protection concerns with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at www.ico.org.uk.

3. Liability & Warranty

3.1 iRepair Labs is not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, including loss of business, data, or profits.

3.2 A 30-day limited warranty applies to parts and labour but excludes software-related fixes, water damage, battery replacements, and accidental damage repairs.

4. Cancellation & Refunds

4.1 No cancellations or refunds once repair work has commenced.

4.2 Partial refunds are at iRepair Labs' discretion, excluding labour and diagnostic fees.

5. Abandoned Devices

5.1 Devices not collected within 30 days of repair completion will be considered abandoned and may be disposed of.

6. Payment & Quotes

6.1 Full payment is required upon completion of repairs.

6.3 Quotes provided are estimates only and may change.

7. Force Majeure (Acts of God)

7.1 iRepair Labs is not liable for delays due to natural disasters, power outages, or government actions.

8. Legal Jurisdiction

8.1 These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

8.2 Disputes will be resolved under the jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

9. Acknowledgment & Signature

By signing below, the customer confirms they have read, understood, and agreed to the terms and conditions outlined above. The customer authorises iRepair Labs to proceed with the repair and/or data recovery service on their device.
